About the show:
Meet the famous, infamous and everyday folk that make a town and share in their tales – tall and true – of the beauty and the terror of this great southern land.
Taken from their album “The Valley” and enhanced by video projection, the audience is transported on a local journey; Beware the bushranger and the charismatic money man. Embark on a perilous jaunt on a riverboat for a sip of sly grog. Pay tribute to the bush nurses and bus drivers that serve the town. Take a quiet moment to remember the fallen and the forgotten. Experience an epic, fateful journey from Gelantipy all the way to the Old Melbourne Jail. Sneak into a cave for a clandestine wedding. Find love in the town’s small hall.
“There’s a lot of really important tales in there.” ~ Jan ‘Yarn’ Wositzky OAM. Founder of Bushwackers Band
